Adi Dynar, Litigation Counsel, has extensive experience in protecting people’s civil liberties as a litigator, speaker, and activist.
Adi has spent about a decade litigating constitutional-law cases in federal and state courts across the country. He has won important victories as lead attorney in civil-rights cases in state courts of last resort. His cases have helped set broad precedent in diverse and complex areas such as campaign finance, civil rights, criminal justice reform, donor disclosure, family law, federal Indian law, federalism, free enterprise, freedom-of-information and public-records laws, freedom of speech, immigration law, occupational licensing, professional responsibility, separation of powers, and state constitutional law.
Adi has also successfully handled administrative adjudications before state and federal administrative agencies where he has obtained important reversals of previous agency decisions. He has also authored and spearheaded pro-freedom legislation at the state and local levels. Given his interest in administrative law, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey appointed him to a four-year term as a member of the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners, the agency tasked with regulating Arizona’s dental profession. In that role, he is frequently the lone dissenter and works to reduce the regulatory burden on individuals to enable them to earn an honest living.
Adi has spoken and written on a variety of legal issues, including freedom of speech, administrative law, civil rights, and immigration law among others. He has authored policy papers and has published with the Wall Street Journal.
He earned his law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting, finance, and economics.
*Admitted only in Arizona. DC practice limited to matters and proceedings before United States courts and agencies. Practicing under members of the District of Columbia Bar.
