Colt & Joe Trucking v. U.S. Department of Transportation

CASE SUMMARY

NCLA petitioned the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit to review the Department of Transportation’s illegitimate civil penalty order totalling thousands of dollars against our client Colt & Joe Trucking.

The Tenth Circuit remanded the civil penalty order to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Then, in November 2023, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration vacated the civil penalty order.
