Donor Privacy
The New Civil Liberties Alliance® (NCLA®) does not sell or rent donor information. NCLA does not disclose donor information other than as required by law or necessary for NCLA operations. NCLA may directly use donor information for its own further communications with you. We may also provide donor information to companies that are under contract to help us improve our operations, outreach, or fundraising efforts, such as online donation processing vendors, donor/contact management systems, customer relationship management platforms, and mailing houses. Such contracts will always include confidentiality provisions requiring the contractors to protect all NCLA/donor information.
Use of Information Provided When You Donate, Sign Up or Subscribe
NCLA uses contact information you provide through the Donate, Sign Up, or Subscribe options on our website to deliver periodic updates on our cases and other efforts to bring the Administrative State within constitutional and statutory bounds. Such updates include, for example, periodic news announcements and event invites.
Although NCLA does not sell or rent your contact information for use by other charitable organizations, we may provide contact information to companies that are under contract to help us with our communication efforts. Such contracts will always include confidentiality provisions requiring the contractors to protect all NCLA/ stakeholder information.You may instruct that we exclude you from further communications by opting out when you receive a communication, by emailing us at ncla@ncla.legal, or by mailing a request to: New Civil Liberties Alliance, 4250 N. Information Automatically Collected by Our Website

NCLA uses this information to improve our website’s content and functionality for purposes of communicating with stakeholders. None of the information provided on our website constitutes legal advice. Any information you provide to us through the “Contact Us” page does not establish an attorney-client relationship. If we contact you to gain more information regarding a case you disclose to us, that communication does not establish an attorney-client relationship. If we agree to represent you, we will provide a written engagement letter establishing the terms of any attorney-client relationship. Prior case outcomes do not guarantee similar results. Our case evaluation process can take time, so if your matter needs immediate attention, you should contact counsel licensed to practice where the matter is pending.
Protecting Your Data
We attempt to identify and implement industry standards and protocols to protect personally identifiable information from unauthorized use. NCLA takes reasonable precautions to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee it will not be accessed by malicious actors who break the law. In such event, we will follow applicable laws to provide appropriate notifications.
We will disclose personally identifiable information upon receipt of a valid and lawful court order or subpoena. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies or judicial authorities any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful or criminal.
