Seventh Circuit Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s elevation to the U.S. Supreme Court would position her to weigh in on fintech regulation, agency independence and other legal issues affecting the banking industry. But with the high court already showing a tilt toward business, her addition to the bench may not yield a sea change from a financial services perspective.
