Constitutional Litigation Fellow


Christian is the Constitutional Litigation Fellow at the New Civil Liberties Alliance. Prior to joining NCLA, he was an attorney at the Center for Individual Rights, where he litigated cases concerning federal overreach and the First Amendment in various federal courts. Christian also served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Tennessee Office of the Attorney General. In that role, he handled criminal appeals and post-conviction matters and participated in strategic litigation on behalf of Tennessee.

Christian is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law and Purdue University, where he graduated with highest distinction. While in law school, he externed for the Honorable John F. Kness in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and interned twice for NCLA. Christian lives in Virginia, and he is a member of the Tennessee and Washington, D.C. bars.
