Eugene B. Meyer stepped down as President of the Federalist Society after 40+ years of service at the end of 2024. He led the Society from its early days as a small student organization, turning it into a formidable national network of over 90,000 members, including lawyers, law students, judges, and academics. Mr. Meyer holds a B.A. from Yale University (where he was a student of Prof. Joseph Hamburger) and an M.A. in Political Science from the London School of Economics. Gene is also an International Chess Master.
